A Northwestern University professor who allowed students to watch a live sex demonstration in his class has defended his decision, saying 'that is what I get paid for'. The after class event involved a woman being brought to orgasm by a machine-powered saw with a phallic object instead of a blade.
By allowing live sex act into curriculum, did Northwestern University screw its brand?
The Northwestern professor who staged a live "fucksaw" demo for his students will not be teaching Human Sexuality this fall. In fact, the university won't offer the class at all. According to the Chicago Tribune , the university has said, "courses in human sexuality are offered in a variety of academic departments in other universities, and Northwestern is reviewing how such a course best fits into the University's curriculum. Michael Bailey, the prof who arranged the optional, after-class live orgasm show, will be teaching "Behavior Genetics and Evolutionary Psychology" and "Dangerous Ideas" instead — maybe in the latter he can tell students his theories on how trans people are fetishists and why gay men like doing hair. In all seriousness, it's too bad that one professor's questionable decision has led to the cancellation of a whole class. The fucksaw demo may have had little academic merit, but it was hardly a crime as I've mentioned , Bailey's ideas about trans and gay people are much worse.

Here in the sex lab — an unsexy little space crammed with computers, chairs and a wobbly round table — the world seemed quiet, wonky, normal, not so different from the bespectacled professor Bailey. But beyond the walls of Cresap Hall, Bailey was being widely cast as a villain. The Northwestern Sex Toy Scandal was burning up newspaper websites, clogging hours of radio talk, rivaling Charlie Sheen for jokes and outrage. On Thursday morning, shortly before Bailey walked into the sex research lab, wearing jeans and carrying a laptop, the university's president had issued a statement saying he was "troubled and disappointed" by what happened in Bailey's class Feb.
Northwestern Wildcat…or Horndog? And so we come to the live sex demonstration that took place at Northwestern University following Prof. By now you must know the lurid details. And from the Chicago Tribune. I understand no laws were broken. The participants were adults.
